When the camp ends, the Cyber Security category and all the rest of K12 Computing will still be here. Ask and answer questions. Help your colleagues and get help. I’ll be around after the camp ends, as will Drs. Tian and Li. We’re here to help!
Hi Bob. This is Monika O’Neill. I’m working through module one. We are being asked to post answers to a question. Do we do that through this part of the platform?
Hi Oma16553, please post answers to the discussion on the https://annex.kennesaw.edu.
We use this forum to share anything about teaching and experience.
As I’m watching the YouTube videos in the modules, I see the suggested videos at the end. For us as adults, not a big deal. Sometimes in the classroom this could be a big deal. Did you know that it’s a simple set of keystrokes in your embed code to get rid of those suggestions. Here’s how:
Here’s the EXTRA STEP to prevent “Suggested Videos” at the end of your post.
Here’s the Embed code that I got from YouTube. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/OxdwNtQLSLo" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Here’s the Embed code that I got from YouTube with the extra code ?rel=0 inserted: <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/OxdwNtQLSLo?rel=0" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe>
That’s it! By adding “?rel=0” to your embed code, you eliminate the suggested videos at the end of your videos. Notice the location! It’s at the end of the YouTube address and before the frameborder code.
